Recipe For Temptation

Prescription for heartbreak? Or recipe for love?

A six-month sabbatical from her high-powered career is just what the doctor ordered…especially when Reese St. James eyes the hunk of her secret fantasies on the menu. From the moment she walks into Michael Wolf’s world-famous restaurant, she’s given the VIP treatment. And the sexy celebrity chef’s mouth-watering kisses have her eating right out of his hand…and hungry for more.

Furious at discovering Reese isn’t the food critic he expected, Michael vows to teach the delectable deceiver a lesson. Seduction is the first course as he turns the tables on the sensual doctor. But once he tastes her passion, he goes straight from the frying pan into the fire. He wants to trust her, but what if he gets burned? As their sizzling affair flames into a culinary feast for all the senses, will love be the final course?

Recipe for Temptation (4.5) by Maureen Smith: A highly entertaining story with elements of comedy, cooking, intense sexual chemistry and hot romance that combine to keep readers entranced from beginning to end. Michael Wolf is a celebrated chef, restaurateur and cooking-show host — and he’s determined to remain a lifelong bachelor. Reese St. James is spending time in Atlanta after losing a patient. She has a crush on Michael, and never dreams that she will not only meet him, but be totally enthralled with him. A misunderstanding does nothing to cool their attraction. Recipe for Temptation is a great book by Maureen Smith. It is a light, funny romance that has you cheering for the hero and heroine to be together. Smith does a wonderful job with character and plot development. The setting also makes this book believable and entertaining. Humor in a romance novel always makes the story “real,” and Smith did a great job incorporating everyday relationship humor into this story. Recipe for Temptation is a must read!

DID YOU KNOW?

As part of my research for Recipe for Temptation, I gorged myself on a steady diet of The Food Network. I watched so many cooking shows that I developed a major crush on celebrity chefs Bobby Flay and Emeril Lagasse. As for the name of Michael Wolf’s fictional TV show, Howlin’ Good, that was my husband’s brainchild!
