The suggested questions are intended to enhance your group’s reading of my romantic suspense novel WITH EVERY BREATH. 1. What effect did the tragic death of Imani’s father have on the relationship choices she would make in the future, specifically pertaining to her doomed relationship with David Scott? How often do you think women stay with the wrong men for the wrong reasons?
   


2. Do you think Imani would have worked up the courage to end her relationship with David even if he hadn’t cheated on her?
   


3. What impact did Garrison’s father’s absence have on his life? How did it affect him as a man, son and brother? As a reader, would you want to see Garrison reunited with his long-lost father? Do you think this would have an influence on his future happiness with Imani?

Let’s pretend this wasn’t a romance novel, where you know the hero and heroine will end up together. How would you have felt about Samille ending up with Jack instead of Brant? Would you have objected because Jack is white, or because you feel that Brant is Samille’s obvious soul mate? And let’s talk about that for a minute. How many of you believe in soul mates—the idea of being destined for another person? Do you accept this only in romance novels, but not in real life? Why or why not?
